We used Inspection Buddy for the pre-handover inspection of a townhouse we bought off the plan in Oxley. I used their web based service to undertake a DIY inspection. We didn’t build a new house, we lifted our little small cottage and built in underneath. A friend recommended Inspection Buddy to do a final check before we paid the builder his final payment. I guess the process was much the same as a new build, given the extent of our renovation. The best thing is that the report template can be customised for the layout of our house, or maybe the best part was the videos showing us what to look out for. Either way, it was quick and easy and the builder thought we had used an external company to do it.
